The system protection plan describes the measures to control critical grid states, to avoid major disruptions or to limit their effects. These measures are of the utmost importance for the safe operation of the Austrian transmission grids in the Continental Europe (CE) synchronous area, for the efficient and needs-based operation and operational coordination of the Austrian transmission and distribution grids, and generally for the security of supply with electrical energy.
